Ten minutes with this list can save you a failed test. Walk around the car, tick each line, and fix what you find before you book.

How to use it

  • Do it in daylight, with the car parked on flat ground
  • Ask someone to stand behind the car while you press the brake and use the indicators
  • Write down anything that is not right, and fix it before the test
